1/48 Airfix kit built out of the box.  The major issue with this kit is inserting enough weight to prevent tail-sitting.  I had to use 20g and there is no real room to insert it!

1/32 Resincast kit from Fisher Model and Patterns (California).  

1/48 Airfix kit with colour p/e cockpit details.  One side of the kit shows internal detailing, the other is closed up. 

1/48 Trumpeter kit with working contra-rotating propellors.   

1/32 Revell kit (Originally Matchbox from 1980) this model contains a lot of detail in the engine and cockpit areas although lacks any detail in the wing fold sections. 

1/48 Airfix kit using a resin weapons bay and aftermarket white metal wheel struts. I failed to ensure the mounts were strong enough and these legs now splay out.

1/48 Airfix kit using pre-painted P/E instrument panels.

1/32 Trumpeter kit using replacement metal landing gear from Scale Aircraft Conversions which is an essential modification.  Trumpeter kits quickly bend under their own weight and are now supplied with metal undercarriages on their new kits.

1/48 Airfix kit.  This kit was so bad that I have thrown it away.  Airfix have released a modern tooling of this excellent plane which is in my stash currently.

1/48 Airfix kit built using Xtradecal RAF Retirement Scheme

1/32 Trumpeter kit with Wolfpack cockpit details and Eduard P/E interior set and canopy masks.  Kit has white metal undercarriage parts.

1/32 Trumpeter kit with Xtradecal set for the 2014 RAF solo display aircraft based with 29 Squadron at RAF Coningsby.  This kit benefits from Aires Resin exhaust nozzles, SAC metal undercarriage and Eduard pre-painted PE instrument panels.
